In order to assure the high quality and reliability of its precision products in a sustainable way, as a global player, it opted for the quality management solution of the company GUARDUS Solutions AG from Ulm. During an intensive market exploration, the business unit of B. Braun Melsungen AG chose three providers that were submitted afterwards to a six-month thorough test.
Speaking about the requirements list, Lothar Schutzbach, the manager of the instrument plant at Aesculap AG said: “We were looking for a standard software program characterised by best practice process orientation and modular versatility. Moreover, such factors as user friendliness and integration capability in upstream and downstream applications, especially in the SAP ERP system as well as the manual and automatic testing and measuring devices, also had priority.
The Quality Management Solution GUARDUS CAQ convinced us in every respect. In future, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) relevant system will control all the processes that take place during the inspections that accompany production and will administer the quality relevant product and process data working with an integrated database.
