3.5. GUARDipedia
The central information source, GUARDipedia, ensures the goal-oriented knowledge transfer regarding all the ZEISS GUARDUS standard functions, from the transparent module overview via the tips & tricks up to the detailed resource and field descriptions. GUARDipedia can be directly called from the MES as an online-help.
Its graphical display of the ZEISS GUARDUS processes with integrated graphs, flash animations, as well as linked documents and descriptions shows the relations between the various modules, functions, and data flows in a transparent way, and deepens the user’s understanding of the software. Due to an integrated keyword search, the desired topics, functions, resources, or fields can be found quickly. Moreover, all the fields in the ZEISS GUARDUS screen forms are linked with the corresponding descriptions via image maps. If the user clicks on the desired dialogue area, he/she will be directed to the explanations in GUARDipedia.
